Tie Down
Would it be weird to ask a friend to tie you down and tickle you?
Im wanting to ask a friend to tie my down and tickle me but im too embarassed to ask.
Ive been in a depressing mood lately so thats why.
Some people grow up thinking it not in the least weird for friends to tie each other up, tickle each other or both. Even in the case of having a friend whom you already know to be comfortable with the activity, it might still be awkward raising the question, although it’s possible it could be equally awkward on the other side. It becomes much more awkward if you aren’t sure about your friend’s attitude towards either aspect of the encounter.
Given the twin difficulties that it might be something a friend wouldn’t be comfortable doing and that it might be something the friend in question would do but not in that context, it might be easier if you can just establish the idea that you’d like to be tied and tickled before bringing up the question of by whom. It’s possible your friend might come around to or even spontaneously raise the idea of tickling you if there’s a little space in which to get used to it, whereas if you ask the whole question all at once it might feel as if you’re trying to lead things somewhere that might be so comfortable.
